Sunday, 12 March | What it Really Takes (& Feels Like) to Develop Professional Relationships in Early Career (Members)

This member-led conversation picks up on this month’s theme: Communicating Your Value. Come settle in with friends to share your experiences about what it takes (and feels like) to develop professional relationships – it’s not easy!  We’ll touch on what it feels like to discuss yourself and your value and how you might have practiced doing that with different people or contexts. Come ready to share your stories, what you’ve learned, and advice for others. We’ll cover a lot, but for sure, we’ll cover three typical scenarios most of us are familiar with – talking about yourself when you’re: meeting new people in a professional context – at work or events; conversations about pay or promotion; and interviewing for a job. This event is included in our free membership tier, which you can join today and then register to attend. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Sunday, 26 February | Beating Burnout (Members)

Burnout is the output of chronic stress, not something that happens overnight or without warning; it happens because a series of small events go unnoticed or ignored. 75% of people have reportedly suffered burnout, and according to the Business Health Institute, it is gendered; in 2020, 32% of women reported consistently feeling burned out at work compared to 28% of men. Despite being new to their career, 38% of Gen Z have experienced burnout. In this member-led conversation, join fellow Changemakers as we share stories of burnout, our fears, experiences, and opportunities surrounding it. This event is included in our free membership tier, which you can join today and then register to attend. Please reach out if you have any questions.
